Staying Connected at Shackleford Crossings During COVID-19 Image

In a time where everyone is being told to keep their distance, it's hard to stay connected. At Shackleford Crossings, we're doing what we can to help keep the community connected. While some of our stores are closed, there are still quite a few that are open. With safe social distancing, it's still safe to come out and support the stores that are trying to make the COVID-19 situation feel a little more normal.

Groceries, Games, and More

Now is a great time to cook more, catch up on TV, and start a daily habit of playing games with your loved ones. Walmart is still open during this time and is a great place to pick up everything you need to create amazing meals.

Pick up an entire series of an old TV show that you've never seen or maybe an old favorite your kids haven't seen yet. Don't forget to head down the board game aisle to keep your family connected the old fashioned way. Of course, Walmart has plenty of video games too.

On your own, but want to stay connected to family and friends? Pick up a new phone, tablet, or computer. Even if you can't be physically with them, you can still stay in touch.

Pick Up Dinner

Naturally, you might get tired of cooking every night. This is especially true if you're working longer hours due to the pandemic. While you can't dine in, many Shackleford Crossings restaurants are still offering take-out and delivery options.

For instance, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers both carry-out and delivery so you can enjoy all your country favorites at home. If you're worried about Easter, they have you covered with their special Heat N' Serve family meal, so order ahead now.

If you want something simpler, indulge in some great fast food by picking up a roast beef sandwich and curly fries from Arby's. Add on a milkshake to treat yourself for not going crazy while trying to juggle your job and homeschooling the kids.

Early Easter Preparations

With Easter coming soon, you might feel stressed as to how to prepare with COVID-19 making gatherings an uncertainty. Remember, Shackleford Crossings is still the place to prepare for Easter.

Pick up Easter baskets for the kids and order a meal in advance. Decorate your home to brighten the mood. A new trend of putting up Christmas lights has even started to make these darker times a bit lighter.

We're doing everything we can to ensure your visit is safe. When we all work together, we'll all get through this and get back to normal as soon as possible.
